Hey, Beautiful

Hey, I'm Allison! I write a blog called Hey, Beautiful that promotes a positive body image and healthy lifestyle for women. I need your help to write a new definition of beautiful: natural, comfortable, and healthy. Together we can change society's model of perfection and help girls and women live healthier lives! Stop The Beauty Madness is a series of 25 advertisements branded with honest messages that highlight the true “madness” involved in creating and meeting beauty standards. I personally find this to be one of the most important facts about eating disorders because it is the most overlooked. People always seem to forget about all the males out there suffering, especially when it comes to eating disorders.

Males can have diabetes.
Males can have cancer.
Males can suffer depression or anxiety.
So why can’t people understand that males also can suffer an eating disorder?

Eating disorders, like all other diseases and mental health issues, do not descriminate. Not against age, not against sexual orientation, not against ethnicity, not against sex.

Don’t forget about the boys and men. Please share <3
